1. Download Google Fit on your phone.
2. Follow the steps to link your watch to your Google Fit app here.
3. Once you have successfully connected your fitness watch to Google Fit, log into your galvan+ app and link your fitness device.
- To link your fitness device tap on Link Fitness Device in the Body section on the Wellness screen and choose Google Fit.
4. Once you have linked your device, start a workout on your watch and do an activity that will raise your heart rate to a moderate level.
5. Once you are done exercising make sure to stop your workout on your watch.
6. Go into your Google Fit app and see if it brought in exercise data that includes heart rate. You can find this in your Journal section on the Google Fit app and tap on your workout to see if it brought in your heart rate.
7. If it brought in heart rate go into your galvan+ app and swipe down on the Wellness screen to perform a manual sync.
- Manual syncing is good to do if your data does not come through when you enter the app.
8. You will receive Heart Minutes for any exercise that puts your heart rate in a moderate range if your watch is supported.
Garmin watches are not supported currently and will not bring in data correctly for the galvan+ app to receive from Google Fit.
