In order to get rewards for your exercise activity, you must use a fitness device that tracks heart rate. Here are the devices that are currently supported:
Apple Watch series 3 (2017) or later
This connection is made through Apple Health
Must start and end your workout on your Apple Watch for data to sync into app
iOS 13 or later is required
Recommended For iOS users as the easiest option to set up
Any Fitbit that tracks heart rate
This connection is made through Fitbit API
Recommended Fitbit watch for Android users as easiest to set up
Offers least expensive option if looking for the cheapest watch to purchase (Inspire Fitbit watches)
Any Garmin that tracks heart rate
This connection is made through Garmin Connect API
Must do a workout on your Garmin watch and sync through the Garmin Connect App before syncing on the galvan+ app
Wear OS fitness watches that track heart rate(Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy watches)
This connection is made through Google Fit
More complicated and more expensive compared to Fitbit
Must start and end your workout on your watch for data to sync into app
To check if your fitness watch will work on Google Fit follow the instructions here.
Watches that require a separate app to connect to your phone will not bring in heart rate data for Google Fit and are not supported.
