In order to submit a proposal for the Galvan Community to review and vote on, you will need to connect your Galvan wallet through MetaMask.
Follow this link and connect your Galvan wallet to your MetaMask account. If you don't have a MetaMask account you can Visit the MetaMask download page. Click the button to install MetaMask for your browser or mobile device. When prompted, click "Add" to install the extension to your browser.
Tip: We recommend pinning the MetaMask extension in your browser for easier access. For step-by-step instructions, refer to the MetaMask support article.
You will need to import your Galvan wallet using the 12-word recovery phrase.
1. Get your Private Key to import your wallet. You get this by typing in your 12 words for your Galvan wallet here.
2. In MetaMask, click the top drop-down menu to select your account.
3. Click +Add account or wallet
4. Click Private Key
5. Paste the private key of your wallet
6. Click Import
We recommend adding a label to that wallet such as Galvan Wallet to keep things organized.
Galvan Wallet setup is now complete!
After successfully importing your wallet, you will need to link it to the DGF site.
1. Click the Connect Metamask button from the DGF Site
A screen will pop-up prompting you to Connect the Galvan Wallet linked in the previous step. Select that wallet, then click "Next".
If you don't see the option to click Connect MetaMask, try one of these 2 options.
1. Refresh your webpage, then click Connect MetaMask
OR
1. Click out of the MetaMask window
2. Click the MetaMask extension in your browser toolbar
3. Click Connect
The final step is to switch to the IZE Mainnet network to ensure your transactions are executed on the IZE blockchain. If you have not added the IZE Mainnet to your MetaMask, instructions can be found here.
1. On the DGF site, click Switch to Galvan Mainnet
2. A window will appear asking your to allow the site to switch the network
3. Click Switch Network
Your setup is complete!
You can now review the current proposals open for a vote.
The 12-word recovery phrase and private key are your responsibility to keep safe.
